Meetings, Garbage & Recycling Pick Up,  and City Holidays.

City-Wide Residential Clean Up Begins

  • Date: 05/08/2023  
  • Introduction: Spring city-wide residential clean up is scheduled to begin Monday, May 8th.

City-wide residential clean-up will begin Monday May 8th.

· 

Appliances, televisions, large electronics, mattresses & box springs will be picked up THURSDAY, May 11th  but you must call in advance; 507-259-7124.

· MATTRESSES & BOX SPRINGS MUST BE DRY!

· A $25 sticker must be placed on each mattress and each box spring. 
Stickers must be on each appliance, television and large electronics piece.

· Stickers are available at Cenex & Kwik Trip.  If you need help knowing which sticker to purchase, call 507-259-7124.

· 

This service is intended to help with large bulky residential items.

· NO CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS.

· Clothing and other items that can fit into the designated garbage bags should be placed in one and disposed of on your regular garbage day.

New Year's Day (Jan 1), Martin Luther King Day (3rd Mon in Jan), President's Day (3rd Mon in Feb), Memorial Day (last Mon in May), Juneteenth (June 19),  Independence Day (Jul 4), Labor Day (1st Mon in Sep), Veterans Day (Nov 11), Thanksgiving Day (4th Thu in Nov), Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve Day (close at Noon), Christmas Day (Dec 25), and New Year's Eve (close at Noon).
