The Public Works Department is responsible for the planning, operation and maintenance of the sanitary sewer system and the storm drainage system. Water and sanitary sewer services within the city are municipally owned and operated. Additional utility service providers are listed below.

Utility Billing

The city owns and operates the water and sanitary sewer collection systems, wells and the wastewater treatment facility. Water and sewer rates are set by the City Council and reflect the costs of operating and maintaining the collection systems, wells, water towers and waste water treatment plants. Billing for water, waste water, and residential garbage and recycling are billed monthly by the city.
