What if I lock my keys in my car?
We offer lockout services at no cost. Contact the officer on duty by calling 507-867-3331.
Do you pick up stray animals?
Yes. The animals are impounded and the owners are charged a $15.00 pound fee payable to the City Clerk and an additional $3.00 boarding fee for each day confined.
Will you check my house while I am on vacation?

Is there a curfew for minors?
Yes.
The curfew for 15 years old and younger is 10:00 p.m. - 5:00 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11:00 p.m. - 5:00 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
The curfew for 16 and 17 years old is 11:00 p.m. - 5:00 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 12:00 a.m. - 5:00 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
Are there any parking restrictions?
Yes, two types.
2:00 a.m. - 6:00 a.m. Monday - Friday. There is no parking on Main Street between First and Fourth Streets. And on on First Street through Fourth Street between Fillmore and Twiford. These streets are posted with signs.
Winter snow removal: Vehicles can not be parked on the streets as to interfere with snow plowing or snow removal.
